Jebo 835 external filter
I have a 120 gallon aquarium and had two Marineland filters hooked up that just couldn't keep up. The Jebo arrived yesterday and with in a hour I had it up and running. It was an easy set up and priming the unit was super easy. With in hours my water was crystal clear. The unit is ultra quiet too. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking at externals.

DO NOT USE on Watts Premier WP systems.
This is review of "Non-Watts Premier Brand RO Membranes" like this one OR "Dow Filmtec Residential RO Membranes". While it should work as described, DO NOT USE on Watts Premier WP systems (i.e. WP-4V, WP-4, WP-5). The WP systems are the one-piece manifold systems from Watts Premier.

This does not have the built-in Check Valve or Brine Seal inside the white plastic tube of the RO Membrane. Without this Check Valve or Brine Seal, water from the reservoir tank (when full) will back flow to the RO membrane and damage it, and waste water.

This back flow or reverse flow will happen when your reservoir tank gets full. So basically, you will be wasting water as the water trickle will not stop. When I tested it, water continued to trickle out of the reject water outlet tube even when my reservoir tank is full already (it should stop when reserve tank is full). The water coming out is at a much slower rate though, but still plenty enough to raise your water bill since the...

Amazing!
This showerhead is so luxurious! The water comes out so soft & smooth, & I love the different options for adjusting it. My husband & I are both very tall (I'm 5' 11", he's 6' 5") so being able to have the water come down over our heads without buying some crazy shower pipe is pretty amazing :) There are different adjustment points that you can "lock" into place by twisting the knobs so it stays secure. Highly recommended!

Does wonders for scalp, hair, and skin
My wife had been complaining of having to color her hair too often. Her stylist suggested that we get a filter that removes chlorine from our water. After using the shower head for a couple months now you can definitely tell the difference. My wife's hair color doesn't fade nearly as fast. Also, my dry scalp isn't a problem anymore. Our skin doesn't dry out as much during the cold/dry winter months. This has definitely been worth every penny.

One note about a previous review...yes the arm is chrome-played brass, and yes the head is plastic, but it's not ugly at all. For $103 (current price as of this review) that's to be expected. After all you are paying for the articulating arms and the filter. Plus if the head were brass as well it would be significantly heavier, thus requiring an even sturdier support arm, resulting in a product being much more expensive.

Well worth the money. Your hair and skin will thank you.
Misleading description and tacky product
The arm may be chrome plated brass, but the showerhead itself appears to be cheap plastic with a chrome like finish on the top and a garish blue and black face. I found it to be quite cheap and tacky looking. Will be sending back.

Water does not taste good
I haven't experienced any leaks and it was easy to install. There is also plenty of water pressure. That's the good. On the downside, the water doesn't really taste very good. The filter in our refrigerator does a better job in terms of taste. I'm going to put a different filter in the housing and see if that helps.

Poor Quality Control
I purchased a Crystal Quest single counter top filter direct from the company. It arrived promptly but the diverter valve was defective. I called and they said they would send me a new valve. The second one didn't work right. Leaked all over the place. Not only that I was charged for the replacement valve on my credit card, without authorizing it. At that point I decided I didn't want anything more to do with the company so I called them and told them I wanted to return the unit. They refunded my money, but they refused to pay the shipping $13.00 Why I should pay shipping for a defective item I really don't get. In addition, upon further research I found that water containing fluoride has to stay in contact with the filter media much longer than it does in this unit in order to do a really good job eliminating the fluoride. The three stage filter product may be better, but the best solution I could find was actually a combination of a reverse osmosis and carbon block filter system...
Great bargain
I bought one identical in appearance by Crystal Quest to this one. I got it because it takes out the fluoride in addition to all the other crap
now found in tap water. Fluoride is poisonous and amounts to forced medication by the powers that be. Why add this highly toxic chemical to our water? It is to
make the population docile and easy to control. People in other countries wonder why Americans are so easy to manipulate. Fluoride in the water, toothpaste,
bottled water, prescription drugs, is why. Fluoride was used in the concentration camps run by Germany during the early 1940's to keep prisoners
content even though they lived in Hellish conditions. After the war it began to be used here in the USA, to protect teeth!
I cannot be 100% certain that this model will remove fluoride. Check it out at their site: [...]

RM-TFC
I wound up replacing every component of my RO system except the tubing and some of the connectors. The tank had a ruptured bladder and the automatic shutoff valve chattered...and it still does with the new one. It's possible that some minute rubber bladder bits got deposited into the new valve. I haven't been successful in clearing it yet. All this started when I replaced the RM-TFC. The water still doesn't taste as good as it did before I replaced the RM-TFM, but I'm not sure of the cause. I've been replacing the RM-TFM every two years and this is the first time I've experienced any trouble. It is a strange coincidence that the system disintegrated immediately after I replaced the RM-TFC.
