Berkey Filter
This is AWESOME!!!! If you have concerns about the garbage that finds it's way into your water, then you should have this. The water is the best. No strange taste, only clear clean water. As I read more and more about the harmful effects of some of the chemicals they now use to "clean" our water, I am glad I have this. Easy to assemble and use.

Berkey System Awesome,....Sport Bottles, Defective?
I was a little nervous about the initial assembling of this based on some reviews I had read on various sites - leaking, mostly due to incorrect assembling. And following written instructions is not my forte but I found youtube to be quite helpful. I successfully put it together,..on my first go. for me…, that is an Uh-MAzing feat, IF I can do it….ANYone can. As recommended, I put food coloring into the first batch of water to make sure filters were doing their job and there were no inconspicuous leaks. It was absolutely awesome to see totally red water filtered to totally clear! It instills your confidence of all the “gross” it’s filtering out of your water.
I’ve only had this since yesterday but I am fanatical about trying to consume “clean” food and water (and for the little dooms day prepper that may be lurking inside me) so I give the Berkey Water Filter system 5 stars. Although, the sport water bottles only deserve a 2...
Berkey LIght systems are BPA free
In 2008, Berkey Light systems were moved to a BPA free material. Yet, they still have the 7 recycle symbol on the bottom.
