One powerful ozone generator
Difficult to review because the effects of its "ionic" cleansing are hard to measure. But, of all the air purifiers I have encountered, this one really can produce the Ozone. So much so, you will find yourself running it on low range.

Technically, this unit produces ozone by impinging UV light onto a rare metal surface. It is very effective. Ozone is a molecular variant of oxygen and is highly reactive chemically. So, ozone is good for killing germs, mold spores, etc. On its highest settings, this unit can produce more ozone than you want to breath or subject pets to.

The unit is very small (8 inch cube) which makes it nice to easily move from room to room. It is quiet in operation. On low settings, the ozone produced does not appear to affect either people or pets.

Expertly Designed & Highly Effective
I've owned several brands of similar air purifiers. The concept of producing nature's purification indoors has always hit home with me and I've always been very happy with how effective it was at creating freshness and keeping my family healthy. However, past units (some that are still on the market) were flawed in how they were put together. This unit shows that someone noticed it besides me. The electrical board is cut off from the ozone production which keeps it safe. I had a product in the past that the exposure of electronics to the high concentration of ozone in the box essentially ate the electronics. The fan on the GT3000 is much much quieter, and servicing the unit is easier. I also notice a much higher air flow out of the unit because of the simple grille design. Other units looked like they were more concerned about a "cool looking" grille than one that actually helped the unit perform better.

As far as the technology, spot on! I paid the least for this unit and...

!!!BEST AIR PURIFIER EVER!!!
I've owned tons of air purifiers both of the ionic type and just regular hepa filter types. None even come close to the GT3000!. This product is built to last, aesthetically pleasing and simple to use. I'm a Chiropractic student in Georgia right now and currently live in a 800sqft apartment and with our philosophy of health and well being this product is a perfect match! I remember going to my Aunt's house years ago and she had a similar unit in her home. I would always wonder why it smelled so FRESH and CLEAN in her home. Now i realize she had a similar product that cleans NO purifies the air completely. The smell is that of that unmistakable fresh smell just after a thunderstorm is the best way i can describe it.

I've also been suffering with chronic dry itchy and red eyes and after only 3 days of running the GT3000 those symptoms are completely gone! Unbelievable, that chronic allergy problem was getting on my last nerve and I gladly would of paid $1000 to get...
Works Well
Its amazing how this one little box is helping to keep my asthma under control throughout the house. I now sleep like the dead no waking up at all hours of the night coughing and wheezing. Someone reviewed that it was bad for asthma. I wish I could let them use mine for a week so they could see how its really supposed to work. I know what its like to wake up clawing for air like evil elves were under your bed waiting to put a pillow on your face. This machnie is my evil elf slayer. Like I said -it works well.

Better than expected! Both the GT50 and Seller!!!!
I have had my GT50s for several weeks and now feel confident in their operation to be able to write what I hope is a useful comment.

Bottom line up front - These are high quality units that seem to do every thing that is claimed of them well. I have not found any competition for twice the price in my searches. So, if you need an air purifier for a small space, look no further than the GT50. I would recommend that you buy them from The Green Giraffe. I have not dealt with a company more interested in making sure that the customer was happy and the product did what it was expected to do! In my experience and having lived all over the world I have never received more concern than from The Green Giraffe! I would rate them 5 stars! More if I could....

I had two problems that I had hoped to solve. We have a cat and her box is in our bathroom. Although it is kept clean, there are times it doesn't smell that way. The other was in my office at the university...

Works really well as advertised
I have been using this for couple weeks and am really impressed. Since I live in small 1-bedroom apartment, I've strategically placed it near HVAC air return grill (a/c runs a lot as live in desert).

Since having this, I've noticed:
-easier breathing
-much less "hacking" morning coughs upon waking up
-dark circles below my eyes are slowly disappearing
-when I come home, it's almost like coming to a place which its air has been scrubbed-clean like being in the deep forest wood that I noticed instantaneous easier breathing after walking in.
-air coming out of vents (a/c) smells much cleaner and fresher.
-cooking odors disappears within an hour or two depending on what's cooked. Before that, the odor would last a day or two.
-furnitures didn't get as dusty fast like it used to (after deep cleaning the place couple days after using this product) as I live in desert which is very dry, so I believe this product helps dust, et al settle down...
I HAD an Odor Issue
I bought a GT50 as a supplement to my whole home purifier. It's fantastic. I don't like the idea of high ozone levels, even though there's no real evidence that they're harmful. Some ozone generators just put way too much out, and the smell isn't something I'm a huge fan of. That's why I love this unit. It's attractive, it's simple, it's controlled. I put it in our guest bathroom and when we're entertaining I just turn it up a notch if I notice an odor. Then, when I can start to smell the ozone I turn it back down and I'm left with only freshness. Beats the tar out of sprayed "air fresheners" and I read labels so I know the toxins they contain. Do yourself a favor if you have a stinky bathroom, cat litter area, or any other small space with an odor issue, buy one of these!

Surprisingly Efficient
I work in a small office which has an even smaller bathroom that gets used regularly which is, fortunate for me, right near my desk. Before I bought this item my co-workers would utilize the bathroom and after bowel movements would spray enough air freshener to asphyxiate a donkey. (or the entire office) The air freshener was actually counter productive because it didn't kill the underlying smell - it combined... it grew stronger and more vile than either odor had been originally. I would use a box of matches which did the trick for a while but then it would leave the office smelling like sulfur so it was a step up but not a perfect solution.

Enter this little contraption - I plugged it in on a Friday night so it could get some time working with the air in the small bathroom and apparently it needed to build up a layer of plasma before it was completely functional. For the first week I noticed that it was making a dent but wasn't working up to snuff, I was contemplating...

Great way to deoderize small areas
This is the second one we've owned in 10 years (1st one died after several years of use). These units will quickly deodorize a small area, like a bathroom or closet. It's compact and simply "plug and play" to use. We even plug them into an extension cord and place them in the cars overnight once in a while to doedorize the cars' interiors.
